SZESE E-sport

It has always been vital for the Széchenyi István University to offer extracurricular activities to its students and the citizens of Győr that gives them a chance to immerse into the advancements of our digital age.

As a relatively newly established, agile university eager for innovation, the school established an E-Sport division together with its Sports Association (SZESE) in May 2019, to allow players of various videogames to pursue their passion on a professional level.

E-sports have garnered significant attention globally within just a couple of years. The Division serves as a nationwide platform for young e-sport talents where they can not only learn the basics of digital competitions but improve themselves to be competitive internationally as well.
